Can we change history not just in the future but by reentering the past?  What about unintended consequences?  Perhaps what appears to us as the chaos of events actually contains a deeper order?  Stephen King’s book--seemingly just about the Kennedy assassination–engages our desire to understand time and our role in the making of our life stories.
